Isaac Brown is a partner at 38 North Solutions who has over 10 years of public policy experience in both the public and private sectors. Isaac came to 38 North Solutions from an AM-Law 100 firm in Washington, DC. where he advised clients on a range of policy issues including energy, health, financial services, and telecommunications. At the firm, Isaac successfully designed and executed strategies achieving clients policy objectives in Congress and the Executive Branch.
Isaac previously served as legislative director and floor assistant to House Whip Jan Schakowsky (D-IL). In the Congresswoman’s office, Isaac managed the policy staff while also serving as senior advisor on energy issues. Isaac also served as the Congresswoman’s leadership aide and was part of one of the most successful leadership operations in recent memory, earning passage for significant pieces of legislation including the Waxman-Markey American Clean Energy and Security Act, the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act, and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). Earlier, Isaac worked as Committee Staff for the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee under the leadership of Henry Waxman (D-CA).
Isaac holds an undergraduate degree from Clark University and Master’s in public policy from Brown University.
