Demand Response Here to Stay: Value Doesn’t Go Away

The Advanced Energy Management Alliance was featured in a Utility Dive article about the U.S. Circuit Court decision to vacate FERC Order 745. AEMA members and the Maryland Public Service Commission were bullish about the market and prospects for demand response. Frank Lacey, Board member of AEMA, of Comverge was quoted extensively, as was Tim Healy, CEO of EnerNOC, and Jon Wellinghoff, Strategic Counsel for AEMA and former Chairman of FERC.

“I think we [demand response technology providers] provide great value,” said Lacey, “and that value doesn’t go away.”
